Why We Built This

From One Family to Another

We’re a local family who loves agritourism but got tired of guessing which places were truly kid- and dog-friendly.

There was one day when we were shooed (respectfully) off three different properties because the properties either didn’t want our dog on the property or they didn’t allow anyone under the age of 21. Our afternoon outing ended in driving in a big loop only to go home exhausted.

Even after we got a little wiser, we would still visit a property that was dog-friendly only to find dogs had to be outside, or visit a location that was kid friendly only to find there were no changing tables in the restroom!

That’s when we realized, we couldn’t be the only people experiencing this, and after starting a group on Facebook, we met over 100 people who shared this frustration!

We put together the criteria, and started visiting every winery and farm ourselves, gathering the details families and pet owners need to make real decisions on how to have (gasp) an enjoyable outing! And now… we’re sharing it all with you.

It’s a win-win because you will be able to pick the right destination for your family, and wineries will spend less time shooing and more time with the clients they are geared to handle!
