About the owners
When Lisa and Bryce purchased Cana Vineyards in 2018, they combined their shared interests in agriculture, business, and community into a new chapter rooted in Virginia wine country. Both Virginia Tech alumni, they bring complementary backgrounds—Lisa from government and hospitality, Bryce from the tech industry—to their work at the winery. When not at Cana, they manage a hay-producing farm in Rappahannock County, where they plan to plant their own vines in the coming years.
History of the venue
Cana’s property is roughly 43 acres, of which 8 acres are planted to Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Manseng, and Norton. Our hilltop tasting room in the gorgeous Loudoun countryside is the perfect location to unwind and experience Virginia Wine Country, with many comfortable areas to enjoy our wines while taking in the beauty of the mountains and vineyards.
